You need to understand that these pictures may appear only under certain ratios of exposure and the rate of change of the object in the frame. So, the duration of a blink is about 300 MS, while 90% of the time is lifting century. That is, to close his eyes, the boy took about 30 MS, and this time you'd need a slit to pass from reflection to the boy. Given that this distance is equal to about half of the frame, it can be concluded that the exposure of the entire frame took about 60 MS, i.e., the exposure was about 1/15 s. This corresponds to the quality of the resulting photos: blur, because the camera is on the table (and not in the hands of a person), but the exposure is large enough, so part of the street visible from the window was illuminated.

Now back to the original photo-a selfie. We can assume that it was obtained through the same effect, but it is not. The fact that head movements are much slower than movements for centuries. The distance from the girl to her reflection in the mirror is approximately 1/6 of the frame. This means that even if she managed to turn the head 180 degrees and change the position with that in the reflection, removing the hand showing the gesture, and focused look at the camera for half a second, the exposure of the frame had to be about 3 seconds. However, this is not the quality of the resulting image. Any photographer will tell you what to do a selfie with it, setting the shutter speed to 3 seconds - not a good idea: no optical stabilization can't handle a hand shake at such a time interval, and the inevitable photo will be blurry. In addition, 3 - it's too slow shutter speeds for shooting in daylight (which, obviously, is present in the pictures). Thus, if this picture was taken with a shutter speed that is equal (or close) to 3, he would inevitably be blurry and overexposed.

From all the above we can conclude that the hardware features hardly could cause such a frame, and get it accidentally one can only wonder.
