Oliver et Mary Davey marchaient dans le cimetière d’Arnos Vale afin de se rendre à une réception de mariage qui avait lieu dans une chapelle victorienne voisine. C’est à ce moment-là qu’ils décidèrent de prendre quelques clichés.
Olivier, un enseignant, prit quelques photographies. Sur le coup, il ne remarqua rien d’anormal. Mais, quelques secondes plus tard, sur l’un des clichés, une tête est apparue, puis est venu le cou et enfin les épaules.
Les deux témoins se précipitèrent dans la salle de réception de mariage où ils montrèrent l'effrayante image aux convives. Beaucoup sont tombés des nues.

« J’ai été surpris vraiment. Je l’ai montré à ma femme et à beaucoup d'autres invités à la noce.»
« Je suis sûr qu’il n’y avait personne près de moi - personne ne fumait - donc je ne sais pas ce que ce c’est. »
« Le plus drôle, c’est que je venais d'avoir eu une conversation durant laquelle j’ai avoué que je ne croyais pas vraiment aux fantômes. C’était donc un moment effrayant. »
Oliver et Mary, âgée de 32 ans et conseillère en développement durable, a remarqué le visage effrayant aux alentours de 18 heures 30 le samedi 15 novembre 2014.
Le cimetière d’Arnos Vale a été construit en 1837. A l’intérieur de celui-ci, se trouve un certain nombre de bâtiments et de monuments classés.
