Initial data
The salesman was returning home when he came to a steel bridge with one lane of traffic, suddenly a bright light appeared above his head, and he apparently lost consciousness.
Later, he woke up, slowly moving in a different place. He was stunned, and his eyes were burning intensely.
He couldn't explain the period of time he had missed, but he felt like he was on board some kind of ship.
Later, in a state of hypnotic regression, he remembered being in a bright room with two seats and a panel. A small creature in a uniform and helmet with a visor led him into a dark room, where several tests were performed on him.

A short being wearing a uniform and a helmet with visor took him to a dark room where several tests were conducted on him.

Hypotheses
False memories
A person remembers an event, a fragment or a detail that did not actually happen.
They can be formed independently or under the influence of methods of memory recovery therapy (Recovered-memory therapy or RMT), such as regressive hypnosis, guided visualization, drug therapy for memory recovery, etc .In this case, there is an effect called imagination inflation.
