Location:
Сан-Франсиско-де-Салис - MG
Brazil

"My name is Antonio Villas-Boas, I am 23 years old, I am a farmer and I live on a farm with my family. It is located near the city of San Francisco de Salis in the state of Minas Gerais, near the border of the state of Sao Paulo in Brazil. We plow the land with a tractor, and if I have to work at night, I usually drive myself."

This is how the fantastic story begins, told by Brazilian Antonio Villas-Boas about his incredible encounter with aliens in a conversation with doctor Olavo Fontes and journalist Joao Martins. The conversation took place in Rio de Janeiro on February 22, 1958, six months after the incident.

On October 14, the second case (the first one) occurred. It was probably between 21:30 and 22 hours.

Dr. Fontes did not draw any conclusions regarding the numerous abrasions and other injuries on the chin, palms, legs and armpits.

On the other hand, he confirmed the complete absence of direct or indirect signs of mental illness in the patient.

Antonio Vilas Boas was not prone to psychopathy, as well as to superstition and mysticism. He mistook the members of the UFO team not for angels or demons, but for people from another planet.

When journalist Martins explained to the young man that many, after hearing his story, would consider him either crazy or a fraud, Antonio Villas-Boas objected:

"Let those who consider me such come to my house and examine me. It would help them to immediately determine whether I can be considered normal or not."

Maybe the young man suffered from an inferiority complex or was an inferior person at all?

Dr. Fontes completely denies this in his examination.

Are the fantastic adventures of Antonio Villas-Boas a figment of the imagination?

As Johannes von Butlar writes in the book "The UFO Phenomenon", surgeon Walter K. Buehler, who lives in Rio de Janeiro, said in a telephone conversation on May 24, 1978:

"I don't have the slightest doubt that this really happened."

He referred to the fact, not yet published at that time, of "a very thorough examination of Boas by Dr. Fontes using a special device - a Geiger counter, in which "radioactive contamination was detected on his body and clothes."

Dr. Buehler, along with other doctors, also came to the conclusion that only radiation could have caused the painful symptoms described above in Antonio Villas Boas.

He was probably exposed to radiation.

_________________________

On the night of October 15, Antonio worked alone in the field. At one o'clock in the morning, he noticed a large red "star" in the sky. Then the light intensified and headed towards Antonio. An egg-shaped object hovered in front of the tractor, the light of which drowned out the headlights of the tractor. Antonio noted the presence of three "metal spurs" at the facility and three of the same "metal rods", thick at the base and pointed at the ends. A rapid rotation of the dome was observed in the upper part of the object. When the object was approaching the earth, it began to emit not red, but green light. The object hovered "a few meters from the ground" and leaned on "three tripod-like metal supports that appeared below." When Antonio tried to leave, the tractor broke down and the lights went out on it.

Antonio jumped out of the tractor and tried to run across the plowed land. Suddenly, he was grabbed by the arm. He broke free, but was immediately caught by three humanoids. They were wearing some kind of gray overalls and helmets, in which the eyes were distinguishable. Vilas-Boas saw 5-6 such creatures. Although they were a head shorter than Antonio, at the same time they turned out to be physically very strong and dragged him inside the facility.

Antonio found himself in what looked like a well-lit cubical room. The light came from squares on the "metal ceiling". There was no visible opening through which he had entered here. Antonio was ordered to move to another, slightly larger, "room." "In the middle, from floor to ceiling, there was a metal column, wide at the base and at the top and slightly narrower in the middle part. It was of circular cross section… The only furniture... was an oddly shaped table that stood against the wall and was surrounded by several swivel chairs without backs. It was all made of the same white metal."

Exchanging barking sounds, the creatures forcibly stripped Antonio and covered his body with a thick, fast-drying liquid. Then two men took him to another "room", where blood was taken from him through a long tube. He was left alone, Vilas-Boas lay down on a gray sofa to rest. Suddenly, the young man felt severe nausea, suffocation and noticed that steam was coming out of several pipes on one of the walls. Antonio retreated to a corner, where he vomited.

Some time later, a "naked woman" entered the "room", whom Vilas-Boas regarded as "beautiful, although she did not look like the women I knew." She had pale skin, bleached hair that reached half of her back, a high-cheekboned face with a pointed chin, elongated blue eyes and thin lips; also angular shapes, widely spaced breasts, red hair under the arms and on the pubis, a thin waist, flat stomach, wide hips. Vilas-Boas had sexual intercourse with her. Antonio mentioned that his impression was ruined when she started making grunts.… Then a humanoid came for her, but before she left, she smiled at Vilas-Boas, pointed at him and at her stomach and looked up.

Another creature appeared, who brought Vilas-Boas his clothes and motioned for him to get dressed. He was taken to the previous "room", where there were several creatures. They were talking about something among themselves. He wanted to take away an unknown object that looked like a watch to have proof, but it was taken away. Then Vilas-Boas was back on the field, and the ship flew away. The abduction lasted 4 hours and 15 minutes.

When he got home, he slept for a day. Vilas-Boas told only his mother about his abduction. During the following nights, he could not sleep, he was plagued by headache, nausea, which led to loss of appetite. A day later, Antonio felt a strong burning sensation in his eyes, watery eyes. For a month he felt lethargic, drowsy. Wounds appeared on the skin, after treatment of which scars remained, and two yellowish spots appeared on the face.

A few weeks later, he went to the doctor Olav Fontis, complaining, in addition to the above, of aches all over his body. He told him about the kidnapping.

"He doesn't have any psychopathic character traits...," Fontis Vilas-Boas described. — His behavior is exactly what one would expect from a person in an unusually strange situation. At some points, even knowing about our doubts about some issues and distrust, he still answered quite definitely: "I do not know anything about this" or "I can't explain it."

He was sent to Walter Bachler for treatment in Rio de Janeiro. It was suggested that Antoniou's complaints corresponded to the symptoms of radiation sickness, although it was not possible to diagnose it accurately at the time.

Deliberate falsification

This version includes any falsifications that imitate unexplained phenomena both from the outside: practical jokes, flash mobs, fake news, witness fraud, staging, etc.

There are many ways to make something similar to a ghost or a flying saucer from improvised materials, without using video and photomontage.

Many homemade things made for the sake of a joke, a practical joke or a direct imitation of a mystical being or event can be taken as unexplained not only in photos and videos, but also in reality.

Investigation

Versions testing, their confirmation or refutation. Additional information, notes during the study of materials

For information. In the film "Not from this planet" (English "Not of this Earth") (02/10/1957), there is also a theme of pumping human blood by aliens. But she had met before. For example, in "The War of the Worlds" (1897, H. G. Wells).
