Lucio Portugal, a civil servant from the city of Canllapata, confirmed in an interview with a local news channel that all the animals were found without a drop of blood.

"We cannot say with certainty that it was a chupacabra," he explained, emphasizing the complexity of the investigation of this mysterious case. "We don't have enough data yet to draw unambiguous conclusions."

And although some doubt the connection between the strange creature and a series of unexplained deaths, many residents of the region were alarmed. Some say they have seen similar creatures before, but such reports have remained in the realm of myths and legends until now.
