On the beach of Christchurch in New Zealand, a local resident found the remains of a strange creature. Photo finds a woman posted on Facebook, asking users to identify the "enemy".
The remains represent a skeleton with a long tail and wings, are equipped with claws. From the mouth of the creature sticking sharp teeth.
Ichthyologist Malcolm Francis National Institute of water and atmosphere New Zealand suggested that the remains belong to a male Stingray (view Dipturus nasutus), belonging to the family rombovuyu.
Previously this species of stingrays assigned a conservation status of "endangered".
