Not so long ago, rumors began to spread in the regional capital that a mysterious vampire creature, known as a Chupacabra, lives in one of the landfills in the city. Photos of the unknown beast were even published online. The information caused a certain resonance and heated debate.
The other day, representatives of the Samara research association "Kosmopoisk" refuted the data about the chupacabra. At least about her whereabouts.
- Information about the alleged chupacabra in Samara does not correspond to reality. The photos were taken on January 4 in the city of Nyandoma of the Arkhangelsk region, the organization reported.
The correspondent found the author of the scandalous photos. It really turned out to be a resident of Nyandoma - 28-year-old Nikolai Vavilin. By the way, he does not consider the mysterious creature to be some kind of fantastic species.
- The photo was taken in our city at the intersection of Sovetskaya and Staraya Kievskaya, opposite the former Meat Processing Plant. What kind of beast it is, I do not know. I took pictures through the car window. He didn't go out, went home, got him some food, but when he came back, he was gone. I drive there four times every day, I haven't seen it again.
I think it's some kind of sick fox, the only thing that seemed to me that she was blind or very hard to see. Her dogs may have picked her up. We live practically in the forest, they often come into the city. I don't really believe in chupacabra.
